Kathleen Fitzsimmons
Kathleen is a local historian and educator who lives in Leadville with her husband and two daughters. She earned a Master’s Degree in Leadville History, and is Michael’s only sister. She will present an overall Leadville history, a visual dive into many of the “Then and Now” photos, and then share her stories of Leadville with her oldest brother, Michael. She is releasing the second “Then and Now” book this month and will share unseen photos of Leadville.
Michael C. Fitzsimmons
Michael is the oldest of nine children born to Barbara and Terry Fitzsimmons of Leadville, Colorado. He was born in the old St. Vincent’s Hospital, attended West Park Kindergarten and then St. Mary’s parochial through 6th grade. He attended Lake County Junior High until 9th grade when the family moved to Evergreen, Colorado. He is married with three children and two grandchildren and owns an art gallery and custom framing business in Westwood, New Jersey.
