All ages welcome
Attention Irish literature fans! You're invited to Bloomsday 2025. For those unfamiliar, Bloomsday is the annual celebration of James Joyce's famous novel Ulysses on June 16th, the day the novel is set. The celebration is named after the main character Leopold Bloom and major festivities are held in Dublin and across the world including Paris, New York, Cyprus, and Tehran!
Come enjoy a night with other Joyceans to discuss and read from Ulysses, along with other James Joyce works. If you'd like to contribute, please come with a short reading from any James Joyce work or other Irish poetry and literature such as Oscar Wilde, Lady Gregory, WB Yeats, Samuel Beckett, or Edna O'Brien. Music is also encouraged if you would like to come along with a tune on your preferred instrument. You are also of course more than welcome to just sit back and enjoy.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
